HP Star Wars Fun Side Challenge: The Force Has Awakened

The newest part of the Star Wars franchise - The Force Awakens opened in India with rave reviews on 25th December and within 12 days of its global release, it has become the fastest film in the history to collect a billion dollars at the box office. THE FORCE HAS AWAKENED! Being a Star Wars fan myself, I religiously binged upon the first 6 parts of the Star Wars series before going in the theatre to experience The Force Awakens in its full 3D glory. It exceeded all the expectations I had from it but there was one thing that was still bugging me

Not owning any Star Wars memorabilia made me feel incomplete. Being too optimizing in nature, I wanted something which integrated well with my daily workday so that I could wear it as a badge of honor and let the world know my love for Star Wars. I started to feel lost, but then I remembered the words of the great Jedi Master Yoda

Keeping those words in mind, I continued my search for the memorabilia of my dreams. My search ended when I came across the HP Star Wars™ Special Edition Notebook. A beast of a laptop with 6th Generation Intel Processor powering it under the hood plus the Star Wars theme ingrained in its DNA (from the artwork on the laptop body to the Command Center in the Operating System).
My first reaction after going through the specifications of HP Star Wars™ Special Edition Notebook was like -
It was just too good to be true. But after doing my homework about the machine, I truly felt that it is something every die hard Star Wars fans should have. At a glance, the major highlighting features are as follows -

I. Inspired by the Dark Side

From the red-backlit keyboard (makes me remember all the red lightsabers yielded by the Siths) to the Galactic Empire artwork (Darth Vader and Stormtrooper) embossed on the body of the laptop, it reeks of the dark side.

II. Access to Star Wars content

It comes loaded with collection of storyboards, behind-the-scenes photos, Sound schemes & wallpapers (Recycle Bin Icon is replaced by Death Star) and the Aurebesh font.

III. Witness the Force

Powered by 6th generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 940M Graphics card, the force is strong with this one

Before coming across the HP Star Wars™ Special Edition Notebook, I haven't felt such a strong urge towards anything. Maybe it is the mysterious ways of the dark side at work. Now I fully understand what Darth Vader meant by -

To complete the HP Star Wars Fun Side Challenge, my idea is to become Master Yoda and help HP with spreading the word about the Star Wars™ Special Edition Notebook, helping them inspire another generation of Star Wars fans.

I hope you are able to #AwakenYourForce. Looking forward to the Star Wars Episode VIII and IX

May the Force be with you

Til next time,
